Choosing the right educational childcare and preschool for your family is a big decision. We know you have questions, so we have compiled our most frequently asked questions below.

What childcare programs does Raindrop offer? What ages do you serve?

We provide state-licensed educational daycare, preschool and early education programs for children 6 weeks to 12 years old. We offer programs for infants, toddlers, early preschool, preschool, Pre-K, school-age and summer camp.

What COVID-19 health and safety standards are your practicing?

We take every precaution to ensure your child is safe and secure when they spend their day with us. Our health and safety practices are based on current guidance and recommendations from the CDC, state and local officials and departments of health to ensure we maintain a safe and healthy environment. Which curriculum do you use? Is it state approved?

We utilize the award-winning Creative Curriculum® in our classrooms, blended with the latest research into early education and brain development. Creative Curriculum® is one of the few curriculums approved by every State Department of Education in the country. Our focus is school readiness.

What are your teacher qualifications?

Our teachers are certified by the state and meet or exceed all childcare requirements. We require criminal background checks through local, state and/or federal agencies and verify educational credentials prior to employment. All teachers are trained in CPR and first aid, and complete trainings in early childhood health and safety. Teachers also complete annual professional development trainings to strengthen skills and keep apprised of the most recent research into early childhood education.

How do I get updates on my child? Do you have a mobile app?

Parents are set up with an app called Brightwheel. It is super simple and easy to use! Brightwheel is a secure, online system for receiving invoices and receipts for tuition as well as paying bills digitally. The app is also how we stay connected to you with messages and a real-time feed of activities throughout the day. Once downloaded you will receive photos and videos of your child, updates on diapering, naps, meals, activities, electronic daily reports and more.

You will use your four-digit Brightwheel code to check your child in and out each day. Please do not share your code. Each person authorized to pick up your child will have their own code. Ask your Director to get you started with the app!

Is your building secure?

Yes, we are a secure facility. Our front door is secured electronically. Only authorized staff and families may enter. Guests coming for a tour must sign-in and provide a valid ID prior to entering our school.

Do you have cameras in the classroom?

Raindrop has security cameras in all classrooms that management view regularly

Do you take the children outdoors?

Weather permitting, we take children outside every day. During inclement weather, we plan indoor activities designed to exert the same amount of physical activity and to promote movement and large muscle development.

Can I stop by and visit my child?

Due to Covid-19 drop-in visitation is currently not allowed.

Do you have a family referral program?

We do! We hope you have a fantastic experience at Raindrop Center and tell your friends and family. With our Family Rewards Program, if you refer a family you’ll receive one month tuition free credit as a THANK YOU!

Do you have parent-teacher conferences?

We encourage you to participate in family conferences. Conferences provide great opportunities to discuss your child’s progress, to share observations and to determine learning goals and next steps together. If you’re interested in scheduling a family conference, please contact your Teacher.

How do I enroll my child in the Raindrop Center?

The Director will give you an Enrollment Package containing forms required by your state. Submit your completed Enrollment Package to your Director to complete your registration and set your start date!

How much is daycare or preschool tuition?

The best way to get tuition information is to contact the school. The Director can walk you through our programs and care options and answer all your questions.

When is tuition due? What forms of payment do you accept?

Weekly tuition is due on Fridays for the upcoming week. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover Card, online payments, cashier’s checks, and money orders. We also offer a recurring payment service.

What do I need to know before my child’s first day at Raindrop?
